Program Synopsis


The objectives of the Business Administration program — which is in-line with the mission of AIT, is to produce high calibre Business Administration graduates in a number of concentration areas using internationally benchmarked curriculum. The program is designed to provide students with a firm grounding in core business subject areas including: accounting, business law and public policy, business supply chain management, customer service and operations management, ethics and social responsibility, finance, human resource management and labor relations, international business, strategic and entrepreneurial management, organizational behavior, marketing and sales, and quantitative techniques including mathematics and statistical analysis.

Students on this program will also acquire extensive computing skills require for working in a modern business environment. Apart from hands-on computing skills, students are taught how to apply and use information technology tools and systems to analyze problems and issues, and as well as develop business systems and applications.

The program is designed to provide our students with the knowledge and associated skills in the broad field of Business Administration while emphasizing on some specific areas of concentrations. Over the four year program a range of skills-based, generic subjects will be sustained in order to develop the student as a versatile graduate and as a 'life-long learner'. Students on this program will acquire systems design, and communication skills and be prepared for employment in a broad spectrum of computing, or for continued study at the postgraduate level.
