All academic programs at AIT have in-built university seminar series on topical issues and subjects relevant to each of the academic programs and fields. AIT students are encouraged to participate in these seminars to enable them keep abreast with major developments in their respective fields of study.
These seminars which are presented by top international experts and leaders in each of the fields are hosted as video resources on our system for our students to access beyond scheduled university seminar sessions. Our system now host over 1000 seminar series covering major fields including: engineering, information technology, computer science, business and management, science, education journalism, entrepreneurship, general and global issues among others.

AIT provides our students and prospective students briefings on various Professions to guide them in their choice of programs to pursue and to guide their future career choice decisions. These briefings provides details of each profession, what people in that profession do, what qualifications are required to embarked on that profession, the job and career prospects among others. All main Professions are covered including those in the fields of: engineering, business, medicine, science, among others

AIT as an entrepreneurial university, provides opportunities, practices and the environment conducive to actively encourage and embrace entrepreneurship among our students. We aggressively promote entrepreneurial endeavours to maximize the potential for commercialization of business start-up ideas to create value in society. Entrepreneurship is part of the fabric of AIT and as such we do not only graduate job seekers but also put a lot of resources and effort into producing graduates who go on to set up corporations to create jobs and wealth. The AIT Graduate Entrepreneur Institute serves as the university’s flagship entity for recruiting, training and mentoring graduate entrepreneurs from various fields. Those who excel themselves and show promise are provided business incubator facilities to assist them as they take their first bold steps to turn their business ideas into promising start-up companies.
